Quality & certification
Consistent quality, workplace safety and environmental responsibility are the foundation of our work. At KMK GRANIT we have an integrated management system according to ČSN EN ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 and parameter control is based on an accredited laboratory according to ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025. This allows us to deliver raw materials with consistent properties and full traceability.

Certificate validity until: 06. 07. 2026 (company certified long-term, from 12/2005).
Scope (briefly): mining, processing and sale of feldspars; development, production and sale of abrasives and other non-metallic mineral products; accounting consulting and bookkeeping.

Selected parameters from the accreditation scope (flexible scope):
- XRF determination of elements and oxides (e.g. SiO₂, Al₂O₃, Fe₂O₃, TiO₂, CaO, MgO, K₂O, Na₂O, P₂O₅; also selected elements such as Cs, Cu, Mn, Nb, Rb, Sn, Ta, W, Zn) and alkali sum calculations (K₂O + Na₂O).
- LOI – loss on ignition, gravimetrically (1100 °C) and thermogravimetrically (1000 °C).

How we ensure quality in practice
- Batch traceability – origin and test results are traceable throughout production to dispatch.
- Controls throughout the process – incoming, in-process and outgoing parameter verification in close coordination with the laboratory.
- Controlled documentation – we maintain datasheets and other documents in current versions (Downloads section).
- Audits and improvement – internal and external audits, employee training, equipment modernization.
